This Week in Six Sides - News and Notes
While he did not appear on last night's Impact broadcast and the storyline was that he was not in the building, Eric Bischoff was indeed backstage last night in Orlando.

A reader claims that fans outside of the Impact Zone last night were warned before entering the building that the show would not be family friendly.

TNA has yet to remove Daniels from their roster page, even though his release has been confirmed.

For those wondering, Tommy Dreamer was not backstage at TNA Impact last night.

According to prowrestling.net, Tommy Dreamer's non-compete with WWE has expired. He was released by the company in early January, which makes him eligible to appear as soon as tonight's TNA Impact.

Jeff Hardy posted a message on his Twitter page that will fuel the speculation.

"I'm a Dreamer and I know I'm not the only one."

** UPDATE **

Tommy Dreamer posted the following interesting tweet on his official Twitter page today:

"Since Jeff Hardy is a Dreamer and I was part of Team Extreme, I will retweet his message that TNA Impact airs at 8:00 p.m. EST."

Confirmed: Daniels is done with TNA
Dave Meltzer has confirmed that Christopher Daniels was released by TNA earlier this week. This explains his appearance on last night's Ring of Honor PPV using his old Fallen Angel gimmick and first name, neither of which was part of his most recent persona in TNA.

Christopher Daniels Returns to ROH
Moments ago at the ROH PPV in Charlotte, North Carolina, Kenny King was in a match with Davey Richards. After the match, Kenny King refused to shake hands despite cheers from the crowd. Richards was interviewed after the match and put over ROH before saying how awesome he is and how he's going to beat Austin Aries or whoever he has to. With that being said TNA's Christopher Daniels appeared complete with a Marilyn Manson entrance theme. Daniels then cut a promo and said he had a problem with what Davey just said. He told the people he wants to be the best in the world, but for 7 years he fought to keep the name Fallen Angel synonymous with Best in the World. He said after being held back he has returned to ROH to prove he is exactly that. He then challenged Davey Richards to a fight, and he doesn't care where or when. The crowd wants the match now. Daniels leaves.

His status with TNA Wrestling is up in the air at this point. We hope to have more shortly.

A Message to TNA - Stay at 8
Dear People that be at TNA Management,

Please don't let IMPACT die, and don't go back to Thurdsay's because you would look very weak at that point. I hope that moving IMPACT to 8 because off the NCAA finals is a test run for a permanent move. I agree that IMPACT is better then RAW, I think a lot of people do to. I haven't watched RAW in years, and it feels good to watch wrestling on Mondays again. For some reason people are stuck to RAW. I know a guy in Canada (Milky), he post on the forums. He has watches RAW every Monday, that is his thing. He's been doing it since he was a young boy. You will never get him away from RAW, even if RAW had a storyline where his mum was getting it from all the boys backstage. By going to 8pm you might get him to your watch your first hour and then go back to watching RAW at 9pm. Better to have a new viewer for half of your show if they are absolutely not going to turn away from the other guy no matter what is happening.

To top of that little rant, I would also like to suggest some sort of replay. If anyone remembers back in the old days of the Monday Night Wars, Nitro would replay right after it first aired. I think IMPACT could benefit from a move like this. Especially if you don't move IMPACT to 8pm permanently. I hope this makes it to somebody that matters, or at least can start a movement. I am in no way bashing TNA with this. I love TNA, I have been watching TNA since the very beginning. It would be horrible to see IMPACT die off because of a bad time slot.

Best Regards,

Stephan

Jeff Hardy and Moore trying to get Matt in TNA?
It looks like TNA stars Jeff Hardy and Shannon Moore are trying to get WWE superstar Matt Hardy to "cross the ilne" and jump ship from WWE to TNA after the two wrote "cryptic" messages on Twitter last night.

Shannon More wrote: "@MATTHARDBRAND time to jump ship brudda. Ship has set sail. Tell Ace you quit and be a Heavens Demon!!!"

Jeff Hardy then wrote the following: "Maybe my brother can join tha demons next time if he gets his shit together."

Presumably the "Ace" that Shannon was referring to is WWE's John "Johnny Ace" Laurinaitis.

In a related note, Jeff Hardy, Shannon Moore and Gregory Helms attended last night's UFC Fight Night 21 live show from North Carolina.

HOGAN QUITS TNA!!!
In a shocking turn of events it is being reported that Hulk Hogan has asked and subsequently given his release from TNA Wrestling. No word yet if this means that Bischoff is going too, but I would imagine so. The rumor going around is that Hogan was ashamed by IMPACTsi low ratings and did not want to be associated with a "sinking ship, brother".

It is being said that Hogan didn't have a no compete clause in his TNA contract, meaning he can go to any wrestling company anytime he wants. Word going around is that people from WWE have been trying to contact Hogan since the news broke to try and get Hogan to host Raw this Monday or come back to the company for another short run. So far no word from TNA's official site, but we'll keep you updated as more facts come in on this April Fools Day.

OJ Controversy | Bischoff's Guitar | RVD's TNA Vibe
The bizarre bi-sexual segment with Orlando Jordan on this past Monday's Impact was not a hit among talents in the TNA locker room. However, two people who enjoyed the segment were Eric Bischoff and Vince Russo. It's been noted that Jordan's look was inspired by singer Lady GaGa.

According to ProWrestling.net, Ric Flair and Orlando Jordan's new on-air male companion got into a confrontation at a bar after the Impact tapings on Tuesday night.

According to the report, Flair saw the male companion dancing at the bar and got so upset at him being there and being in the TNA locker room in general that he got in the guys face and verbally unleashed on him.

Apparently Jordan's male companion was so shaken by the exchange that he decided to just leave the bar.

The guitar segment with Eric Bischoff playing on IMPACT two weeks ago featured music played by someone else, not Bischoff. The music was actually done by Dale Oliver, who has done a lot of music work for TNA before.

TNA wrestler Rob Van Dam says he’s avoiding “any negative energy that may be out there” about his TNA debut by avoiding any reports or reviews of TNA Impact since he officially joined the promotion on March 8. RVD said in a new blog posted on robvandam.com that he’s “loving it there” in TNA thanks to the travel schedule, management, and crowd responses thus far.

“To counter any negative energy that may be out there, concerning TNA in any matter, let me just tell you that I am loving it there. The reasonable work schedule, the doable travel, the people in and behind the scenes, the growing situation, the excitement from the crowd, the unstoppable path to the top I’m on, love it all,” RVD said. “I haven’t been reading any reports since I’ve joined. I’m just feeling the universal vibes and they feel good for TNA right now, and good for RVD.” RVD also put over his new hard rock ring entrance music where fans can chant along to “Rob…Van…Dam…the whole f’n show.” He talked about the background on the theme in his blog on the website.

Monday Night Wars II Ratings Results 3/30
The Monday Night War Ratings are in and it is not good for TNA.

RAW - 3.7
Impact - 0.6

ouch. I liked IMPACT, I even went to Wrestlemania the night before and still watched IMPACT over RAW. I guess wrestling fans are fickle now-a-days.

TNA Releases | Steiner Update
The webmaster of The Honky Ton Man's official website is reporting Brian Knobbs and Jerry Saggs, The Nasty Boys, have been released from TNA Wrestling. According to their report, Knobbs was involved in an incident at a TNA gathering where executives from Spike TV were present. Knobbs' behavior was reportedly an issue and lead to their departure.

coming from The Honkey Tonk's website I'm not sure how credible this is.

According to sources, TNA has released Consequences Creed from his contract. Creed is now using his former name of Austin Creed on Twitter but has made no mention of being gone from TNA. He has been removed from TNA's website however.

Scott Steiner will be headed to Puerto Rico to work for the WWC promotion against Ray Gonzalez soon.
