Planet Stasiak coming to TNA?
Former WWE star Shawn Stasiak, 39, claimed recently on Right After Wrestling that he would likely be joining TNA soon. For what it's worth, people in TNA who would know whether he's joining or not say his name hasn't even been mentioned.
The second generation wrestler has been looking to get back into wrestling lately and has been working as a chiropractor since retiring from the industry several years ago. Posted on 11 Mar 2010 by sTr
RVD's Lengthy Beatdown | Hardy's TNA Contract
There was a lot of controversy over Rob Van Dam's TNA debut this
past Monday. Some fans felt that RVD came off looking bad after getting
beat up from Sting's baseball attacks for several minutes.
According to Mike Johnson, the beating was supposed to be shorter but Hulk Hogan missed his cue to come out and they had to stall for time. According to Jason Powell, Jeff Hardy has signed a contract with TNA Wrestling despite the fact that he has a trial coming up. According to the report, TNA was seeking around 100 dates (which would include house shows) but it's unknown at this point exactly what the terms were. Powell reports that Shannon Moore has also signed a deal with the company. Posted on 10 Mar 2010 by sTr
Monday Night Wars II Ratings Results
RAW scored a 3.4 cable rating while TNA scored a 1.0 rating. Obviously this isn’t close to the number TNA was looking for.
Ted Linhart, the Vice President of the USA Network of Program Research, posted the following on his Twitter page: "Not much of a Monday Night 'War'. RAW trounced TNA by 275% w/ total viewers. Also Impact much lower than the test Monday ep in early Jan." Uh oh, that is not good. I watched both shows, TNA first, then RAW on DVR. I have to say TNA was definitely the better show, Raw was lame, boring and stale as usual. What does this mean? This means war, this means that TNA needs help growing. I can sit here and bash them for every little thing they do wrong, but I think it would be more progressive to dwell on what they do right, primarily wrestling. Did I mention, RVD made his TNA debut last night, with that he was also greeted by a heel Stings bat blows. Excellent, I'm loving TNA, still want my ring back but this will do. PS: Fuck the VP of USA, RAW sucks my balls.... just like his wife. Posted on 09 Mar 2010 by sTr
THE FIRST 5 MINUTES OF MONDAY NIGHT IMPACT!
Oh JB, you're gonna be in trouble now... I hope everyone is as excited about TNA moving to Monday Night as I am. They honestly should have waited until they were stronger, but that doesn't man we should let them die. WWE puts on a horrible show week after week except around mania. The wrestlers in TNA go out and do the best matches ever, we need them to win, The Monday Night Wars are indeed back. It's been a long long time since I've been able to watch wrestling on Mondays, I stopped watching Raw years ago. So however your feelings are about TNA, everyone should tune in Monday Night and get this party started. Posted on 06 Mar 2010 by sTr

dropped from there. The final quarter-hour only drew a .93 rating.
There were also no Olympics this week.

Morley and Roxxi Gone? | Karen Angle Backstage
TNA has removed Sean Morley and Knockout Roxxi from the company's online roster page.
Morley appeared on Thursday’s Impact show, and Roxxi has been sidelined
by an ankle injury she suffered in the ring last year. There’s no
official word yet on whether Morley and/or Roxxi have been released.
Roxxi noted on her Twitter page that she is returning to action
on Saturday for the WSU promotion as Nikki Roxx. The show takes place
in Union City, N.J. at The Ace Arena. For more info, check out
Nikki-Roxx.org.
Most everyone within TNA said it was surprising to see Karen Angle backstage at TNA's most recent set of television tapings. "It was very uncomfortable," said one source. "It was very awkward." Karen was there with boyfriend Jeff Jarrett for the first time in Orlando since their relationship was outed on the Bubba the Love Sponge Show last summer. Karen and ex-husband Kurt Angle are said to be on good terms nowadays with Kurt not displaying any signs of being bothered by her presence. In fact, one backstage source recalled Kurt being nonchalant over their relationship until he and Karen had an argument over their children, which led in part to Jarrett being removed from the company's day to day operations. The source recalls one wrestler in particular attempting to cause problems and fire up Kurt to confront Jeff last year, but he didn't react. Posted on 05 Mar 2010 by sTr

- During an appearance on Don Imus' FOX radio show this morning, TNA star Hulk Hogan hyped Monday's live Impact debut and hinted that TNA's planned surprises may begin early in the evening. Hogan said, "Tune in a few minutes before nine because we might pull some sneaky stuff."
Back on January 4th, footage of Scott Hall and Sean Waltman was shown on Spike TV during commercial breaks of the UFC show that aired before Impact With TNA looking to grab the attention of the wrestling world on the first night of the new Monday night war, it's possible we could see something similar on Monday night. According to PWInsider.com, TNA Wrestling released Traci Brooks this morning. She had been with the company since 2003 and was an original member of the Knockouts division. Traci Brooks sent out the following message today, regarding her release from TNA… Just wanted to take this time to say yes i was released yesterday afternoon from TNA. There is nothing to report or any stories on why…simply they had nothing for me. I loved my time at TNA and will look back at my seven years with them with great fondness. TNA is a family and unfortunately this is the nature of the beast with family members coming and going. I will still be wrestling and doing conventions just like i have been this whole time. Thank you to the ring crew, camera men, production, creative and of course the talent who i have shared so many good times with, my only sadness is not being able to say goodbye to these people in person. I do have my ebay store (tracibrooksdirect2u) where you can find traci brooks merch. My myspace which is tnaknockouttracibrooks and my facebook which is traci brooks i do not or have not ever had a twitter account and those 2 sites are my only social network...so if anyone is following me on twitter sorry to say its not me, as well as facebook..there is imposter's but traci brooks is my only facebook account..thanks again to my fans for always supporting me and for all the great times i have had over the years. Looking forward to what life has in store for me..god bless..and please watch TNA monday nights as i will still be cheering on my family including my husband :) Posted on 04 Mar 2010 by sTr
Update on RVD/Hardy I TNA Name Change?
As of this past weekend, Rob Van Dam has not signed a deal with TNA Wrestling. According to Dave Meltzer, the company has been trying to get him to sign a deal in time for the March 8th Impact.
TNA is also trying to get a Jeff Hardy deal finalized despite his current legal situation. It is being reported that the idea of changing TNA's name or the words associated with the letter have been being tossed around backstage as of late. While there are some people that have felt the TNA (Total Nonstop Action) name should be changed, Dixie Carter is said to be fully behind the current name and brand. According to Dave Meltzer, it was Vince Russo who originally came up with the TNA name when the company wanted to be as risque as possible. The idea of using a different name has been discussed since the time when Impact first debuted on Spike, but by that point it was decided that the brand name was already too established to be changed.
